Why does everything in fashion seem the same today?
There was a time when style served to distinguish.
Today, very often, it serves to avoid risk.
And that's probably one of the reasons why more and more things are starting to look alike.
Outfits.
Images.
Brands.
Even luxury.
Everything seems designed to be liked immediately.
Quickly.
By as many people as possible.
Without creating too much contrast.
The result is that many things work for a few seconds.
But few truly remain.
For years, fashion had the courage to divide.
There were strange shapes.
Difficult colors.
Accessories that not everyone understood at first.
And it was precisely there that identity was born.
Today, however, many products seem to be built in the same way:
particular enough to attract attention,
neutral enough not to bother anyone.
A characterless perfection.
The problem is that what everyone likes very quickly,
is often forgotten just as quickly.
Because it doesn't leave a precise feeling.
It doesn't create memory.
And memory is one of the most important things in style.
We always remember what had presence.
Even when it wasn't immediately understandable.
Perhaps true contemporary luxury is not appearing perfect.
Perhaps it's having a recognizable direction.
Even at the cost of not being immediately understood by everyone.
In the end,
many things become elegant precisely because they stop chasing immediate approval.
And it's often there that they truly begin to become interesting.
