Do colors influence emotions?

When we stand in front of the wardrobe, we should remember that even in fashion, the choice of any color is never random.

If you open your closet, in fact, you'll immediately notice a certain color preference in your wardrobe; a color that says everything about your personality without you even realizing it and without any coincidence.

Over the years, a specific psychology has developed around the world of colors: the psychology of color.

Things?

"Color psychology arose because colors can stimulate the human mind, eliciting specific emotions. Each color has its own meaning and precise connection to a part of the brain that determines specific emotions or moods.
When we observe a colored object, visual perception generates real sensations that are physiologically received by the brain and produce concrete effects on our body and our psychological attitude, influencing above all our state of mind."

It is good to know that we humans unconsciously associate an emotion with each color, based on our personal experiences and the cultural context in which we live.
If we merely imagine a world devoid of colors, a sense of disorientation will immediately arise in our minds: if the colors disappeared from the objects and environments around us, everything would appear confused and indistinguishable.

Do the colors of our clothes speak about us?
Certain!
If fashion is a language, colors also speak about us and tell others who we are.
When we choose the colors to wear, whether it's a dress or an accessory, are we aware of the power that colors have?
What do we communicate?
It may seem absurd, but the right color dress can give us confidence even on the worst day.

So what do colors communicate?
White communicates an immediate sense of purity, light and perfection
Red evokes emotions such as sensuality and passion as well as giving an immediate sense of security.
Yellow , the color of happiness and cheerfulness, expresses joy; it's the shade to increase productivity at work, as it energizes your mood.
Orange is associated with warmth, ambition, enthusiasm and energy.
Pink has always been a symbol of tenderness and sweetness.
Purple , on the other hand, evokes fantasy and luxury.
Blue is a symbol of productivity and dynamism.
Green , which evokes a natural world, immediately gives a sense of peace and tranquility.
Brown is a down-to-earth shade that indicates security, stability, and reliability.
Multi - color , the unconventional , conveys a desire to escape; if you're feeling creative, if you don't want to go unnoticed!

It is naturally impossible to generalize and establish a universal theory of color psychology.
However, these color-emotion associations are not as simple as they seem , as they appear to change with age.
Culture itself teaches us that colors do not take on the same psychological and symbolic meanings throughout the world: red, for example, is considered by the Western world to be the color of love, passion, sensuality, and charm, but some Eastern populations associate red with mourning.

Now that we know this, we can have even more fun, dressing ourselves in our emotions through colors.
By telling our stories and coloring our image, without relying too much on rules and preconceptions.
And you?
Did you know about the psychology of color?
